Happy Midsummer everyone!
Today is a holiday in Finland and the rest of the Nordics.
For my American friends and family that don’t have Scandinavian roots, this holiday (or for those not familiar with the holiday) has its roots in (pagan) Germanic traditions that celebrate the summer solstice.
These days its an opportunity to take a long weekend and enjoy time together with family and friends.
