Culture makes or breaks whatever it is that you want to Deliver in an organization (Product, Service or Result). If you look up the various Definitions of Culture, you will find Vision, Mission, Purpose, Core Values and Attitudes, Strategy(s) and even Goals and Objectives included in that.
In this picture we expand the concept of VSPT (Vision, Strategy, People and Tasks) to a view that encompasses the key components of Culture. These all go hand-in-hand:
Culture is more than just the sum of all of the components. It isn’t enough for a company to wish for positive changes in their culture. A Vision without a plan is just a hallucination.
Same holds true if you are in charge of guiding the mind shift from the old Culture to the new – you must have a clear Vision for the change and do the right things, at the right time, in the right way to lead the transformation.
