Voices of Flow #7

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Today’s video once again features Jeff Kissinger, FCT, FCP who is one of our Flow Trainers. He is teaching-back Tile 4 (VSPT).

VSPT, originally from the West Point Military Academy’s leadership framework back in the late 1980s / early 1990s, stood for:

Vision
Strategy

———-
Projects
Tactics

With the advent of Agile Product Development, many organizations are moving away from traditional project management (even PMI, the grand-daddy of all PM associates, has gone agile with the latest PMBoKs, both 6 and 7).

In Flow, we reflect this shift by changing the P and the T to People and Tasks:

In every organization with which we’ve worked, without exception, there is always a disconnect between the VS and PT (that’s what the line in-between VS and PT is all about – it’s all about the disconnect). This disconnect is reflected in the rather dismal employee engagement surveys that are out there.

Jeff walks us though VSPT and how to use it in your work, every day.

Using VSPT in your daily work is your next step in applying Flow Leadership to achieve the results you want to deliver and that your organization so desperately needs.

So don’t delay – let’s chat!

__________

For those that are not familiar with the Flow Leadership Framework & Mindset, it is what’s next for businesses and organizations that are ready to succeed regardless of the methods, frameworks or management tools that they use throughout their enterprise. Flow is methodology agnostic.

Are you ‘in the zone’ of optimal performance right now as a person, team or enterprise? Did you get there by accident or by focused intentional acts?

“Flow” gives you the way of working and mindset needed to create and maintain an optimal state of high performance as an individual, team or organization.

The Flow Leadership Framework turbocharges everything you do, including “business agile” leadership and Scaled Agile.
